We’re so glad you’re here. Reaching out for support is a meaningful first step, especially when something in your life or relationships no longer feels sustainable. You may be carrying the weight of past trauma, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or life transitions, struggling with communication and boundaries, or noticing patterns in your relationship or family that leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or exhausted. When these challenges go unaddressed, they can affect not only your mental health, but also the relationships that matter most.
At Coppola Marriage and Family Therapy, we provide warm, affirming, relationship-centered care for individuals, couples, and families across New York State. While we work with a wide range of concerns, couples therapy is a core specialization of our practice. At the same time, we remain deeply committed to individual therapy for adults, teens, and children ages 8+, as well as family therapy that helps loved ones move through conflict, adjustment, and change with greater understanding and connection.
Our approach is systemic, which means we look at the full picture rather than viewing problems in isolation. We explore how communication patterns, family dynamics, attachment wounds, life transitions, identity, and relational stress can shape emotional wellbeing. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your partnership, or your family, therapy can help you better understand what’s happening, strengthen your relationships, and create more sustainable ways of coping and connecting.
We are also proud to offer LGBTQIA+ affirming and trans-affirming care. Our providers received specialized graduate training in supporting trans and gender-diverse clients, couples, and families, and this work is also reflected in Dr. Jennifer’s research where she brings a specialized focus to trans femme experiences. We are thoughtful about creating a space where clients feel seen, respected, and supported in the fullness of their identities and relationships.
For couples, our work goes beyond surface-level conflict management. We offer an integrative couples therapy method she developed through Dr. Jennifer’s research that blends EFT, attachment-based work, and contextual therapy. This approach helps couples understand the deeper patterns underneath conflict, rebuild trust, improve communication, and strengthen emotional connection. We also bring added support through Diana’s Gottman training and Danielle’s Prepare/Enrich certification for premarital counseling, allowing us to support couples in many stages of relationship growth.
Across the practice, we help clients navigate communication struggles, boundaries, family and couple dynamics, trauma, identity exploration, adjustment, and major life transitions. Diana’s EMDR certification also brings additional support for clients working through the effects of trauma and distressing experiences. Whatever brings you here, our goal is to offer therapy that is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to your needs.

I am a systemic psychotherapist with over a decade of experience working with a variety of mental health, relationship, and family concerns. I support youth, adults, couples, and families ages 8-80+ across a range of identities. My approach is always culturally sensitive and humble, strengths-based, client centered, and compassionate. I have worked in state-run clinics, community clinics and private practices, and I currently work across New York State in a hybrid capacity, offering both telehealth (video) and in-person sessions from my Upstate NY office.
I look forward to supporting you!
